I prepared for this obe in 9 month before but still it is unpublished so am going to publish it now .The Austrian film ‘White Ribbon’ won the award for the best film ‘GOLDEN PALM’ in KAN Film Festival. “The White Ribbon” (”Das Weisse Band“) directed and written by Michael Haneke .It is a thrilling story of a German village which is to face the First World-War .His previous credits include 'The Piano Teacher', 'Code Unknown' and 'Hidden'.. Mr. Brilliant Mendos a Philippine won the award for the best actor.

 Art is reflection of our society and life and movies are often regarded as modern expressions of art. They make us laugh and cry and we often love them. Every story of a movie is more or less inspired by our life, by what happens around us. Every year numerous movies are made in the entertainment industries but all are not liked: some top the charts while others are flops.

Some become the hot topic of discussion for the people while others just vanish. But how many of these are actually good movies?
