Comparison of Guided Tours and Sight Seeing Tours

Are guided tours better than sight seeing tours? .Guided tours are the tours which means you have to move at that where your guider takes you. And sight seeing tours means you can visit the place of your interest at any time.
There are many advantage and disadvantage of both the tours. So I can say I have to first look out all the advantage and disadvantage like

1. If I choose the sight seeing tour I can go to the place in which I am interested but in Guided tour I cannot go to the place in which I am interested but have to go at that place where my guide takes me.

2. In sight seeing there are no restriction on time, I can stay more if I enjoy while staying there and also can leave the place if I didn’t want to stay but it is not so in guided tour as there is restriction in time limit.

3. In sight seeing we can decide our time to visit any place but in guided tour the time is fixed we have to move according to them only.

4. In sight seeing you should be familiar with the city because if you are not familiar then how could you know which is best place in city to visit and for this you should not worry in guided tour.

5. In guided tour, guide will let you know the history of the place and the best thing of that particular place but if you had selected sightseeing you cant know anything about the place.

6. You don’t have to worry for the arrangement for the hotels in guided tour as guide will arrange all this for you but in sight seeing all the responsibility is yours.

7. In guided tour the traveling from one place to another place is managed by guide but not so in sight seeing

8. In guided tour the guide also inform you, the bad tricks people are using to misuse of new travellors so it is one of best thing in guided tour as in sight seeing no guidance will be available to you so you may be misused.

Like these many advantage and disadvantage are there but though in guided tour there are certain disadvantage I prefer guide tour as I found it more advantageous then sight seeing If new to that city.
