The success of a website depends on the number of of visitors it attracts.Even if a website has lot of useful content , it is called a failure if there are not many visitors to the website.

Some tricks for attracting visitors :

  • . Getting listed in search engines.Add url of website to all major search engines such as google , yahoo etc.

 

  • Remember to add a sitemap to google.(Sitemap is an xml file telling about your site content to search engine)

 

  • .Make use of technorati tags.

 

  •  Using RSS.

 

  • . Getting more links from other websites.
