Jewish Cemetery in Kerala, India

In Mala GramaPanchayat (Trichur district, kerala), there is a Jewish Cemetery .Now it is owned by Mala GramaPanchayat.There are 3 tombs in the graveyard with Hebrew letters on it.The cemetery is a landmark of the Jewish history in Kerala.

But rennovation work is still pending for years.Once upon a time , there were 40 Jewish families in Mala;but all of them left for Israel in 1948.The present post office of Mala is functioning from a Jewish house.

There is a stadium near the cemetery which was formed by using the unused land of cemetery.The stone wall around the cemetery is pending for renovation.
