Nissan Vanette Arriving to Conquer the Indian Market

Japan’s leading multinational automaker Nissan’s two models are there in the market now: Teana and X Trail. Both are luxurious models worth lakhs. As a part of confirming their market in India, Nissan is planning to launch many new models. One among them is Micra. As the name denotes, Micra is a supermini.  A seven seater mini van too is there in the big planning. This van named NP 2000 was introduced in an auto show conducted in Geneva last January. Japan and other East Asian nations have accepted Vanette open heartedly.

Vanette: All Set to Conquer

 Vanette has got two models. One is cargo and the other is passenger. External appearance wise, both cargo and passenger resemble each other. Passenger can accommodate a total of seven at a time. Cargo can house 4.1 cubic meter luggage. Vanette is expected to set a new trend in the much competitive multi-purpose vehicle segment of India. As of now, Vanette has 1.6 liter HR 16 DE petrol engine. This is a variable valve timing engine. This mini van has 4 speed automatic gearboxes. The Indian version of Vanette will be having diesel engines and manual gears. In Japan, Vanette costs around seven lakhs. It’s gonna be 9 lakhs in India. However, it’s expected that Vannet is gonna get a warm welcome in the Indian market.
